Here are 3 ways you can make a difference during Earth Month.
1. Green your electricity through People's Power & Light. Matching your home’s electricity with local renewable sources is an easy and effective way to demand and fund new wind turbines and solar projects throughout New England. Here are some of the projects made possible by our members.

2. Bring your family outside. Go on a hike to connect with nature. Or come out to an Earth Day festival. Here’s our events calendar for the month.
3. Save energy in your home (bonus: you’ll save money too). So this summer, replace the filter in your air conditioner (save $20/year), or better yet, turn on a fan instead! And definitely get rid of that old fridge in your garage (save $150/ year plus get a rebate from National Grid!). Best of all, you can get a no-cost home energy assessment and learn how you can make upgrades in your home. Check out 10 other great tips here.
From all of us here at People's Power & Light, happy Earth Month and thanks for making our planet cleaner through better energy choices. To our members: Your membership is making a difference, and we appreciate it!
