People's Power & Light is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making energy more affordable and sustainable. We do this by leveraging consumer power—your power—for affordable heating oil and for clean, renewable energy.

As a non-profit charitable organization, we have a mission to create and support energy policies and programs that are sustainable, equitable and economically viable.

In addition to our affordable heating oil and renewable energy programs, we administer an Oil Bank for emergency deliveries, work in advocacy on the state level for energy policies that are pro-consumer and pro-environment, and provide information and expertise on renewable energy and energy efficiency for a variety of councils, organizations, and individuals.
