Oil Price Check - Jan 06, 2009
During the heating season, the state Office of Energy Resources conducts heating oil price surveys. During the last twenty-six years, our pricing system has resulted in savings of between 15-30 cents per gallon compared to the average retail price charged by full-service dealers.

Note that our price difference is greatest in the months that you use the most oil.
After six months of steadily declining markets, the inevitable market bounce is happening. Adding to the market fervor is the tension in the Middle East and the stoppage of natural gas shipments from Russia to Europe. While the typical market pattern is for January to boast some of the lowest prices for the entire heating season, the recent bounce may take that out this year, leaving this past December as the contendor for the lowest cost month in over four years.
